Located in the Veronetta district, you can reach it by crossing Ponte Nuovo and enjoying stunning views of the Adige River.

Giusti Garden is the only Italian-style garden in Verona. It’s filled with beautiful landscapes, statues, fountains, and hedge mazes for kids to explore. It’s a great spot to relax and recharge between sightseeing activities.

5 - CMV - Children's Museum Verona

Among Verona's museums, you'll also find a museum entirely dedicated to children: the CMV - Children's Museum Verona. Although it’s located farther from the center, in the Verona Fiera district, it’s easily accessible by bus from the Arena.

The Children’s Museum Verona operates in shifts to ensure the best experience for young visitors. It has two main sections: the museum itself, featuring experiential activities, and the ThinkLab, which hosts workshops and educational sessions. The museum’s interactive design allows kids to directly engage with the exhibits.

6 - Funicular and Castel San Pietro

To reach the top, you can take the Castel San Pietro staircase, which passes through a large park with a playground and offers spectacular views of the historic center. However, if you’re traveling with kids, we recommend taking the funicular, an experience they’ll surely love. The lower station is near Santo Stefano Church, and within minutes, you’ll arrive at the panoramic terrace.

7 - Piazza delle Erbe and Torre dei Lamberti

Even today, it serves as a meeting place for locals and tourists who gather here for coffee or aperitifs. Most importantly, visit Piazza delle Erbe to climb the Torre dei Lamberti, built by the Lamberti family in 1172. From its top, you’ll enjoy an incredible view of the historic center. Don’t worry about the climb: while there are 368 steps, the tower also features a convenient elevator!

8 - Castelvecchio and Arsenale Park

Over the centuries, it served various functions, including as the Scaligeri family’s residence. Today, it houses the Civic Museum, where you can admire collections and journey back in time. Kids will be fascinated by the towering walls, turrets, and battlements that seem straight out of knightly tales.

After your visit, cross the Scaligero Bridge for a splendid view of the Adige River and reach the old Arsenal, now an open-air museum featuring a large playground for kids. A bit of fun is always welcome after some cultural exploration!

9 - Gardaland

Gardaland is perfect for a family day out, offering numerous rides divided into three main categories: Adventure, Adrenaline, and Fantasy. The Fantasy section is entirely dedicated to little ones, featuring attractions like Fantasy Kingdom with Prezzemolo’s House and Magic Village, as well as Peppa Pig Land.

10 - Parco Natura Viva

This is a large zoological park dedicated to biodiversity and the protection of endangered species. Like Gardaland, this park is easy to reach by car or public transport.

The park is divided into two main areas: the safari park and the walkable wildlife park. The safari park is accessible by car only, allowing you to drive through habitats where the animals roam freely. Keep your windows up, as some animals, like giraffes, are quite curious! The walkable wildlife park, on the other hand, is a typical zoo that you can explore on foot, traversing different sections that showcase habitats from around the world. Your kids will surely love spending a day here.
