Useful Tips for Visiting Gardaland

fontata entrata gardaland Foto di Maza89. Gardaland is Italy's most visited amusement park, and to make the most of your day, it's important to choose the right time to visit! We recommend avoiding August and summer weekends as the queues can be extremely long. The ideal time to visit is during the week.

Don’t miss the park's major events, such as Oktoberfest, Magic Halloween, and Magic Winter. These events also attract crowds, but not as large as in summer. For Magic Winter, we suggest avoiding weekends and opting for one of the weekday openings.

Plan to spend an entire day here, as there is so much to do! For lunch, avoid peak times between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM when the queues are long. Instead, eat between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM or after 2:00 PM to enjoy the rides with shorter waiting times.

  1. Best time to visit: May, September, and weekdays during summer. If possible, avoid summer weekends and August. Late September is great for Oktoberfest, October for Magic Halloween, and late December for Magic Winter;
  2. Best hours and days: Prefer weekdays and arrive at least 30 minutes before the park opens (the parking lot opens an hour before the park). Avoid summer weekends and August;
  3. Recommended minimum time: A full day;
  4. Download the official app: The Gardaland app lets you purchase tickets and access park information. Once inside, you’ll find maps, attraction details, restaurant options, shop information, and show schedules;
  5. Skip the line: The Gardaland Express includes priority access to specific attractions. You can purchase passes for 13 attractions (€50.00) or 15 attractions (€90.00), both including a 20% discount at shops. Available on the official website;
  6. What to wear: If visiting Gardaland in summer, bring a change of clothes as water rides can get you soaked! Always wear comfortable shoes as you’ll walk a lot. In winter, dress in layers but stay comfortable;
  7. Family-friendly services: The park has nursery areas and amenities for children, especially in the Fantasy Kingdom area. Stroller rental is available, and the park provides wristbands for children, allowing parents to write their phone number in case the child gets lost;
  8. Visitors with disabilities: Dedicated guides are available with all necessary information. These can be collected at the Welcome Desk at the entrance. More details are available in the official section of the website;
  9. Pets: Pets are welcome in the park. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and large dogs must also wear a muzzle. While pets cannot access rides or shows, they are allowed in restaurants and shops;
  10. First aid: The park has a first-aid station with medical staff available throughout the opening hours.
